Each of our designs is carefully thought through and display numerous qualities and while our designs are unique, innovative and even elegant, they will also be robust, sustainable and flexible.  During the pre-design phase of our process, our team will ask all the important questions that gives us the information needed to produce designs that meet the goals you have for the space. We will identify what the space means to you and your family, the “must” and “would be nice” features, etc. With this invaluable information, we can further customize our design process to focus on what is important to you and ensure the final design not only meets the goals you have in mind but exceeds any design expectations you may have had in mind.

2. YOUR PROJECT WILL BE COMPLETED ACCORDING TO BUDGET:
Our clients choose us because we respect their budgets.  With our extensive range of project types and with our connections to some of the top contractors in Victoria, we are able to keep you apprised of the budget throughout each phase of the project.  We can suggest design alternatives to meet your budget, as well as pointing out any unforeseen costs you may not have anticipated.

You can be assured that we are transparent in our fee structure.  With our “Additional Service Notification” process, there will never be any surprises.  Additional services required above and beyond the scope of the initial fee proposal will be sent to you in writing for approval prior to execution.

As just mentioned, we only work with contractors with whom we have developed a relationship with over many years and whose values and standards mesh with ours.  We work collaboratively with our clients and contractors aligning the budget with our clients’ dreams.

3. TIMELINES WILL BE CLEARLY COMMUNICATED:
We understand that building a family home can be an extremely stressful and emotional endeavour.  We are extremely aware of the significant impacts caused by delays.  We take pride in making this experience as painless as possible for our clients and their family by:

• Clarifying inter-dependancies early on in the project so that they can be accommodated in the schedule.
• Clarifying dependencies ahead of the project so they can also be anticipated ahead of time.
• Kicking off the project with a Gantt chart providing the estimated timeline for completion, then providing monthly updates. You will ALWAYS know where your project is at.
• Working collaboratively with only experienced Consultants and Contractors who are aware of the process, the interdependencies of everyone’s contribution and the costly impact of delays.

4. YOUR PROJECT WILL BE MANAGED WITH EXCELLENCE: 

We work with the newest technology and cutting-edge software to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.  Our project management software includes all the platforms and tools that helps us plan, coordinate and execute every aspect of project planning.

What is unique to MJM Architect is that we have a dedicated in-house Project Manager that is available to answer any questions you may have, when our main Architect may be temporarily unavailable.  The project manager understands the ins and outs of every project and can answer pretty much any related questions.

We have spent many years building relationships with contractors and other players in the industry; we speak their language.  We will coordinate and manage them so you don’t have to worry.  MJM will be your sole point of contact with contractors and consultants uniting everyone’s different roles, responsibilities and objectives towards the common goal… the successful completion of your project.
